Ruger Expanding in North Carolina

America’s most profitable gun manufacturer Sturm Ruger and Co. is expanding. Ruger has decided to open its third manufacturing plant at a 220,000 sq foot facility in Mayodan, North Carolina a right to work state and is employing 500-700 people.

Grant to Create 150 Jobs in Vermont

Vermont Gov. Peter Shumlin on Tuesday announced a $93,500 grant from the Department of Labor’s Workforce Education and Training Fund to the VNA to create 150 new personal care attendant positions and re-train several hundred current attendants. Gov. Shumlin said.
