The Sunapee Selectboard approved a warrant that calls for a tax increase of approximately a 9 percent increase or 28 cents. Of the 28 cents, 18 cents was the result of decisions made by the voters in 2013, of increasing annual spending by $100,000 to pave roads. The new budget recommends additional money for paving so that every road will be paved on a 15-year cycle. The warrant article would need to be approved by the voters at Town Meeting. The Sunapee School board meets Wednesday for their budget at 7 pm in the Sunapee Middle High School Media Room.
