Claremont’s hidden gem was revealed Tuesday night at the public forum for early childhood education and full time kindergarten. Dr. Stephanie Lanzara, a parent with two children in the program and a background in early childhood education, said the Early Childhood Education program at Sugar River Valley Technical Center “…. is very much an unspoken gem for this community,” and that people would be drawn to the community with an expanded program. The program is in conjunction with a credited course for high school students interested in the field of early childhood education. Superintendent McGoodwin is seeking a feasibility study to expand the program. Applications for the committee will be on the SAU 6 website.
