Even though there’s no snow on the ground volunteers are working at Arrowhead Ski Area. Since 2001 the ski area has been run solely by volunteers for the pure joy of providing low cost skiing, tubing and snowboarding for families in the Claremont area. Volunteer Tom Burnham says they need volunteers. Areas where volunteers are needed are for the ski shop, lift operations, tubing area, first aid, Concessions and ski and snowboard instructors. There are some benefits to donating your time, it’s fun and a free pass for your kids. Those interested in volunteering can stop by Arrowhead at 18 Robert Easter Way, Claremont, NH any Saturday or visit their website here.
