Hampton Man Pleas Guilty in Bank Robbery

CONCORD, N.H. – Jason Pratt, 29, of Hampton, New Hampshire, has entered a guilty plea in the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire to three counts of bank robbery, and one count of conspiracy to commit bank robbery, announced United States Attorney John P. Kacavas.
Pratt robbed a Provident Bank on Provident Way in Seabrook, New Hampshire, on March 22, 2013; a Provident Bank on Lafayette Road in Hampton, New Hampshire, on April 3, 2013; and
a TD Bank on High Street in Hampton, New Hampshire, on April 20, 2013, making off with more than $11,000 in stolen funds. Pratt – who subsequently confessed to each of the three robberies,and faces a maximum sentence of twenty years in prison and criminal fines of up to $250,000 – will be detained pending sentencing, which is presently scheduled for March 4, 2014.
This prosecution arose from an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, in
conjunction with the police departments of Hampton and Seabrook, New Hampshire. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Nick Abramson.
