A fire investigation is underway for an early Thursday morning fire that caused evacuation of the Fire Side Inn and Suites in West. Lebanon fire officials say the lobby and banquet area of the Inn was filled with smoke and the sprinkler system activated upon their arrival shortly after 1:30 am. Firefighters found the sprinkler system extinguished a fire in a rear kitchen trash can. After fire fighters assisted with smoke evacuation and overhauled the area, guests were able to return to the inn. The fire is not considered suspicious.
