A Fairlee VT man is charged with leaving the scene of an accident, reckless endangerment, cruelty to children, negligent operation and violating conditions of release on a previous domestic assault on Saturday. Police say last Wednesday, Justin Galenski 40, hit a tree on Old City Falls Rd. in Stafford VT, moved his car and walked 1.5 miles with his sons ages 4 and 9 to friend Rachael Kendall’s home. Galenski said Kendall is a registered nurse and assessed them finding no life threatening injuries. However the 4 and 9 had concussions, a broken arm, broken clavicle, bumps, bruises, lacerations, and injuries from airbag deployment and were treated at DHMC the next day. Galenski also had a broken wrist. Emily Harvey children’s mother reported the accident to the police on Wednesday after the boys were treated for their injuries at DHMC.
