Rt.4 Old Bridge Between Lebanon NH and Hartford to be Demolished

NHDOTThe old bridge on Rte. 4 between Lebanon NH and Hartford VT will soon be demolished and maintenance work on the existing temporary bridge is to start on Tuesday Oct. 29 and continue through Wed. Oct. 30. The work will require daytime alternating one way traffic on both sides of the bridge. Traffic delays should be expected. Since the work is weather dependent inclement weather may extend or change the days of work.
The new steel beam and concrete deck bridge will be built on the alignment of the old bridge being demolished. CPM Constructors, of Freeport, Maine is the general contractor for the $10.7 million project, which has a final completion date of June 2016.
