Bradford Man Helps Injured Warner Woman in Pittsburg

FallsInTheRiverA Bradford man aided a Warner woman in Pittsburg on Sunday afternoon after she injured her arm. Fish and Game officials say Liberty Dragon 53 of Warner was hiking on the Falls in the River Trail when she slipped and her arm snapped when it hit a tree. After the fall, her daughter in-law Heather Dragon ran their car and drove to a store to call for help. Meanwhile Fritz Van Buren of Bradford came along the scene and made a sling from his flannel shirt. Dragon was able to walk out to the awaiting 45th Parallel Ambulance, with assistance and was taken to Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook for treatment of her injury.
