White River Man Arrested on Multiple Charges in Hanover

lukeA White River Junction, VT man was arrested in Hanover, NH early on Wed. morning and charged with DWI, Driving after Suspension, Reckless Operation, Disobeying an Officer, Yellow Line Violation, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, and Resisting Arrest. Police say
Luke Theriault 30, hit a traffic sign on West Wheelock Street in Hanover before crossing over into Norwich VT where he hit another traffic sign and drove on the lawn of the Episcopal Church. Theriault then returned to Hanover on the wrong side of the road, ignoring police lights and sirens until two cruisers blocked him.
Theriault was arraigned in NH 2nd Circuit Court in Lebanon and is being held for lack of $1,500.00 cash or corporate surety bail. His trial is scheduled for Dec 16, 2013.
