Cause of Fire to Lebanon Apartment Building Undetermined.

Lebanon Fire DeptThe Lebanon Fire Department is investigating the cause of a fire that broke out just after 11:00 am on a Hanover Street apartment building on Saturday. Firefighters found smoke coming from the 2nd floor window of 91A Hanover Street and extinguished the fire in the 8 unit building fire in about a ½ hour. Tenants of at least one unit are displaced, and fire officials say the property management company is still evaluating other units for smoke and water damage to see if they can be occupied.
The VT-NH Red Cross responded and assisted the displaced residents with lodging, there were no injuries.
The fire is not considered suspicious.
