Springfield NH now has its own fire and rescue boat to use on Lake Kolelemook. The boat fills a need seen by Springfield Police Sergeant Michael Beaulieu, who was a life guard in his youth and expressed concern about beach at Lake Kolelemook not having a life guard. Springfield Police Chief Tim Julian says the department has a motto, “Don’t bring a problem unless you have a solution.” Well Beaulieu brought a boat to the town.  The 10 foot John Boat was donated by fellow Springfield Resident David Leblanc owner of David Leblanc of Browns Auto and Marine.  The boat will be a tool for Fire and Rescue and will be used in summer and winter emergencies.
