NH DOT Plans Work on Cornish-Windsor Bridge

windsorcornishMotorists using the Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge can expect delays beginning the week of Sept. 9. Bridge pier work by the NH Department of Transportation will require single lane traffic from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and traffic will be controlled by temporary signals for up to eight weeks. The 449-foot long wooden covered bridge was originally built in 1866 and was rebuilt in 1989.
