Robarge To Appear in NH Court Right Away

robargeA Vermont man accused of murdering his wife Kelly Robarge and dumping her body on a wooded back road on June 27 will appear in a New Hampshire court 24 hours after he is transferred back to the Granite State.
Susan G. Morrell, New Hampshire’s Senior Assistant Attorney General, said Thursday 43-year-old James Robarge, of Saxtons River, Vt., is slated to go to the 5th Circuit Court: Claremont Division as soon as possible after he is extradited from Vermont’s Southern State Correction Facility to face a reckless second-degree murder charge. Robarge allegedly murdered his wife, 42-year-old Kelly Robarge of Charlestown, on June 27 and was apprehended in Bellows Falls, Vt., five days later on motor vehicle charges when police said he was “likely to become violent before he was taken into custody.”
The New Hampshire State Police has 14 (now 12) days to bring Robarge back to the Sullivan County House of Corrections in Unity, although no timetable has been established. This story from the Eagle Times.
