A Vermont School Superintendent and Principal were arrested on Monday for Failure to Report Child Abuse and Neglect. Vermont State Police say, in April a student reported inappropriate touching from a Danville School teacher to Principal Noah Noyes. Noyes reported the incident to Martha Tucker Superintendent of Caledonia Central, but each failed to report the matter to the Department of Children and Families (DCF) within 24 hours as mandated by state law. Noyes and Tucker were cited and released. They are both scheduled to appear on August 12th, 2013 Caledonia Criminal Court to answer to the charges of Failure to Report Child Abuse and Neglect of Duty by a Public Officer.
