New London Police Department Upgrades Equipment

new london policeNew London Police department has upgraded surveillance cameras in their station and cruisers. Town officials spent thirty-five-thousand-dollars to improve recording equipment to protect officers from quote false allegations.
This comes after former Chief David Seastrand resigned in April after a Colby Sawyer College Student accused him of asking for inappropriate actions in exchange for lenient treatment. Acting Chief Ed Anderson said the upgrade to the department was needed to protect both officers and the town of New London.

    Hey Ed, what about the citizens!? Shouldn’t your concerns be about protecting the citizens as well?

      Acting Chief Ed Anderson was referring to the citizens of New London in his statement “The town of New London”. The town is in search of a new Chief.
