Student Delegates Named by Shaheen and Ayotte

U.S. Senators Jeanne SUs Senatehaheen and Kelly Ayotte announced Tuesday the two New Hampshire students selected as delegates to the 51st annual (USSYP) from Mar 9-16, 2013 in Washington, D.C.
Students John Parsons of Oyster River High School and Allison Thompson of Nashua High School will join more than 100 student delegates attending USSYP’s Washington Week. Each delegate receives a $5,000 undergraduate college scholarship and the all-expenses paid trip to Washington, privately funded by the William Randolph Hearst Foundation. Senators Shaheen and Ayotte will meet with the students during a special reception on Capitol Hill
“It’s a pleasure to congratulate these outstanding students, who have excelled inside and outside the classroom while making valuable contributions to their local communities,” said Senators Shaheen and Ayotte. “We look forward to welcoming John and Allison to our nation’s capital.”
