The Need For Feeding Families in the Upper Valley Grows.

upper valley havenThe Upper Valley Haven in Hartford VT a nonprofit organization and provides temporary shelter and educational programming for homeless families and adults as well as food and clothing to anyone in need. Currently the Haven is feeding over 1,100 families a month up from 744 last year. WNTK visited the Upper Valley Haven and spoke with Nancy Chase, resource coordinator about their food pantry top ten needs, baked beans, tuna fish, peanut butter, canned fruit,pasta sauce, soups, cereal, juices, mayonnaise and canned beef stew. You can drop items off at the Upper Valley Haven, 713 Hartford Ave, Hartford VT 05001 Monday, 8:30 am- 6:00 pm
Tuesday-Friday, 8:30 am-4:00 pm. Donations of food items and in-season clothing accepted during open hours or by special arrangement at other times by calling 802-295-6500.
