Exeter Hospital Gets Clean Bill of Health for Medicare and Medicaid

exeter hospitalThe Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) confirmed Exeter Hospital is meeting all conditions of participation after conducting a follow-up survey at the hospital on December 3-4. Exeter Hospital can fully participate in the Medicare and Medicaid programs as it has every year since the programs have been in existence.
During the two-day survey, a three person team from the Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Licensing and Certification undertook an examination of the hospital’s operations focusing on standards of CMS that apply to the hospital’s governing body, infection control, medication security, quality assurance, facilities and security.
CMS determination that Exeter Hospital is in full compliance with its standards.
The hospital was the catalyst for the recent arraignment of David Kwiatkowski for multiple counts of felonious criminal activity in the recent hepatitis outbreak.
