Car Collides with Kenmore Oven In Passing Lane

A family car collided with a Kenmore oven on Interstate 89 in Randolph shortly after 5 pm on Saturday. Police say the Nadeau family was returning to their Burlington home after being away for the Thanksgiving Holiday when they hit a brand new oven still in its cardboard box container. The oven was in the center of the left lane and caused moderate front damage to the Nadeau’s vehicle but the oven was destroyed. There were no injuries. Vermont State Police reminds everyone when transporting a bulky or over-sized item to make sure items are properly secured in or on the vehicle.
