Students Grieve After Death of Classmate

Counselors from West Central Behavior Health were on hand Monday at Newport Middle High School to help students cope with the sudden death of classmate, senior Adam Pysz, who died after he was struck by a car on Friday evening. In addition to talking with counselors, students made cards, and helped each other through their grief.
Friends of Adam and his family may call on the family at the Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main Street in Newport from 5-8 pm tonight. On Wednesday, there is church service at 11am at St. Patrick’s in Newport followed by a reception at the Newport Moose Club.
