WWII Vets Fly to Washington DC

The last Honor Flight for the 2012 season will leave Manchester-Boston Regional Airport on Sunday, October 28 at 5:45 am. The Honor Flight program flies WWII veterans to Washington-DC free, to visit the WWII Memorial, built to honor their sacrifices.
Bo Butler of the Londonderry Fire Department is looking for people who will go to the airport and give the WWII veterans an amazing send off. Butler would also like to have the inside of the terminal filled with uniformed members of all the services, to make it the best send off ever. Butler says we are losing 1,000 of these Heroes a day and it is a chance to show those that remain your support. People wishing to join in the send off should be at the airport at 5:30 am. For more information, call Bo Butler at 603-432-1124
