NH Attorney General’s Office files Objection in on Exeter’s Hospital Protective Order

On Tuesday, the NH Attorney General’s Office filed an objection against the protective order filed by Exeter Hospital in August. The objection was filed in Merrimack Superior Court on behalf of NH Department of Health and Human Services (DPHS)
The hospital believes request by the DPHS extends beyond what they are allowed to provide according to state and federal law. The Attorney General Office states that state law requires health care providers to report and provide information to Public Health (DPHS) pursuant to communicable disease investigations.
