Newport Food Pantry Short on Cereal and Non Food Products

Rich Chappal, director of the Newport Area Association of Churches’ Food Panty says he is in need of cereal, eggs and non-food products. The down turn in the economy and high gas prices has many working families turning to the food pantry for help with food because money is spent on other expenses. The Newport Food Pantry serves over 300 families a month from Newport, Springfield, Goshen, Croydon, Sunapee, Washington, Unity and Acworth. Donations of food a can be made at Newport Food Pantry, 95 S. Main Street, Newport NH, and checks can be mailed to Newport Food Pantry, PO Box 672, Newport, NH 03373
