Police Destroy $500,000 – $1,000,000 Worth of Marijuana

On Saturday, the Vermont State Police discovered close to a mile long marijuana patch growing in a swamp near the intersection of Stone Cabin and Pikes Falls Roads in Windhall VT, during a Marijuana Eradication Response Team (MERT) reconnaissance.
Police say the plants ranged from 8 to 12 feet tall and had a street value of $500,000 – $1,000,000. On Sunday, the Vermont State Police and Windhall police officers destroyed the plants. No one has been charged with the crime.
