Help For Mortgage Foreclosures

NH Attorney General, Michael A. Delaney is encouraging homeowners financially harmed from bank misconduct during mortgage foreclosure to apply for a free independent foreclosure review.
Eligible applicants must prove their home was their primary residence, the mortgage was in the foreclosure process between Jan. 1 2009, and Dec. 31, 2010 and the mortgage was serviced by: America’s Servicing Co., Aurora Loan Services, BAC Home Loans Servicing, Bank of America,Beneficial,Chase,Citibank,CitiFinancial,CitiMortgage,Countrywide,EMC,EverBank/EverHome Mortgage Company, Financial Freedom, GMAC Mortgage, HFC, HSBC, IndyMac Mortgage Services, MetLife Bank, National City Mortgage, PNC Mortgage, Sovereign Bank, SunTrust Mortgage, U.S. Bank, Wachovia Mortgage, Washington Mutual (WaMu),Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Wilshire Credit Corporation.
If the review finds financial injury because of bank misconduct, the borrower may receive remediation such as lump-sum payments, suspension or rescission of a foreclosure, loan modification or other loss mitigation assistance.
The Request for Review Form is online at www.independentforeclosurereview.com and must be postmarked or submitted online no later than December 31, 2012.
