Manchester Police Arrest Man in Machete Attack on Multiple Charges

After an investigation, police arrested a 21-year-old Manchester man for the machete attack on a 19-year-old male last Saturday. Police say Jose Sanchez Grullon, of Manchester and his victim went to the Kimball Street area because Sanchez Grullon was going to introduce the victim to a third party willing to sell a flat screen TV for $400.
Sanchez Grullon then lured the victim into the woods saying the seller was probably walking the trails.
Police say the victim pleaded for his life and that of his family after Sanchez Grullon threaten harm if the victim went to the police.
Sanchez Grullon was arrested without incident at his home Wednesday night and found in the possession of 69 Alrazolam pills. He is charged with two charges of First Degree Assault, Criminal Trespassing, Witness Tampering, Theft by Deception, and Possession of a Controlled Drug.
