Psychologist Has License Suspended for Prostitution and Controlled Substance

A New Hampshire psychologist’s license was suspended on Aug, 10 after he was arrested on charges of prostitution and possession of controlled drugs on Aug. 7, 2012. Alexander Marino 38, Ph.D., of Portsmouth, practiced clinical psychology in Exeter and Portsmouth. The New Hampshire Board of Mental Health Practice is having a hearing on Aug. 27, to determine if Dr. Marino’s license will remain suspended during the investigation, the NH Attorney General’s Office announced on Thursday.
