A Springfield VT man was arraigned on Thursday on two counts of Disorderly Conduct, Unlawful Mischief, and Resisting Arrest. Springfield VT police arrested Geoffrey Douglas, 42 of Springfield on Wednesday after Springfield Hospital called to report an out of control individual who was not a patient. Prior to police arriving, Douglas went outside of the hospital where he resisted arrest and ran down the road damaging a passing car. After a brief struggle, officers were able to take Douglas into custody. Douglas spent the night at Southern State Correctional Facility.
