Hepititis C Cases At Exeter Hospital Now 31

The New Hampshire Division of Public Health Services informed Exeter Hospital on Tuesday, that another patient who received care in the Cardiac Catheterization Unit during the alleged infector Mr.Kwiatkowski’s employment tested positive for hepatitis C. This brings the total number of patients infected to 31 in addition to ex-employee tech Kwiatkowski.
The Department of Health and Human Services and Exeter Hospital are scheduling appointments for those who were patients in the Main Operating and Intensive Care Unit between Apr. 1, 2011-May 25, 2012.
Patients who want to testing through the hospital should call the hospital’s Information and Referral Center at 603-580-6124 for appointments. For those who want testing from New Hampshire Health and Human Services can call NHHS emergency services at (603) 271-6617 for their clinics. See related story
