Final Cost In From Durham but Anonymous Donor Still Not Named

Durham NH Town’s Administrator Todd Selig announced Friday that public safety workers reduced the costs of President Obama’s visit to Oyster River High School on June 25, by careful distribution of available workers and because other agencies did not to bill the town. The cost is just under $13,000 below the initial estimate of $20- $30,000.
Selig says several organizations, filed right-to-know requests to learn the identity of a donor who offered to pay up to $20,000 to cover the expense of Obama’s visit. Selig said the town would provide that information when the town receives the funds.
The Obama campaign decided it would not reimburse the town for the costs.
