Clean Up on I-89 Rock-Slide Continues

Clean up continues on the large rock-slide on I-89 at exit 6 in Barre Vermont, where over 120 tons of rocks closed both the exit ramp and north and southbound lanes around 2:30 pm. Shortly after 5 pm rocks were removed from the northbound lane but the exit ramp and southbound lane remains closed as crews work to clear debris from the shoulder. At this time the Agency of Transportation (AOT) advised it will be at least this way overnight, reduce speed accordingly and be prepared to stop. You can check on updates here.
