The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice and the Dartmouth-Hitchcock health system received a $26 million Innovation Grant from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI). CMMI had more than 3,000 proposal submitted.
The grant will fund a program for shared decision making for patients across 15 health system members. According to CMMI the project will result in savings of $64 million over 3 years..
