Suspect in Lebanon Thefts is Arrested in Massachusetts

Lebanon Police arrested, Richard Morrell, 40 in Newburyport MA on three counts of burglary for coins and jewelry taken from three Lebanon homes on Tuesday, June 12.
Lebanon Police traced the thief from a license plate number they received from a resident who reported a suspicious man who knocked on her door inquiring about a RV park.
Police found the co owner of the vehicle, Richard Morrell, had an extensive criminal record including convictions for burglaries in Florida, New York and Vermont.

Lebanon Police issued an arrest warrant for Richard Morrell and are seeking extradition. Newburyport Police are holding Morrell on $10,000 cash bail for receiving stolen property in Massachusetts.
The stolen property from Lebanon was recovered in a pawnshop in Hampton NH, and a residence in So. Boston MA.
