Bear in Downtown Manchester

Manchester Police kept bystanders at bay while they waited for NH Fish and Game Department Officers to aid in removing a 3-year-old male black bear that appeared on Elm and Wall Streets in Manchester early Sunday morning.
Sgt. Scot LaCrossee of NH Fish and game noted that bears are driven by food.
Manchester’s animal control officer tranquilized the bear and Fish and Game Officials released him in the White Mountain.
