Terri Casey received the Claremont Citizen of the Year Award at The Greater Claremont Chamber of Commerce Annual President’s Awards dinner on Thursday, May 31 at the Claremont Senior Center. Casey received the honor for working tirelessly supporting Claremonts’ student population while quietly and dramatically reducing student truancy.
Jacqueline Guillette, former superintendent, spoke on behalf of Casey, also quoting The Honorable John Yazinski, “There are many people in our community working to create a better place for our citizens to live. These individuals go about their daily routines performing wondrous deeds with little note and little reward outside of the satisfaction gained by helping another. One who stands out amongst these caring and concerned people is Terri Casey.”
