Dartmouth Student Named Schweitzer Fellow

Rezwan Khan of Thayer School M.S is a 2012-13 NH-VT Schweitzer Fellow. Khan and one of approximately 240 graduate students throughout the U.S. chosen to partner with local community-based organizations to develop and implement year-long, mentored service projects that improve the health and well-being of under served people.

Khan’s project will work to expand the capacity of non-profits and social service organizations in the Upper Valley area by creating a group of students from different disciplines at Dartmouth to provide consulting services:

Founded in 1996 the NH-VT Schweitzer Fellows Program is one of thirteen Schweitzer program sites across the U.S. dedicated to developing a pipeline of emerging professionals who enter the workforce with the skills and commitment necessary to address unmet health needs.

Schools participating in the Schweitzer program are Antioch New England Graduate School, Dartmouth Medical School,Franklin Pierce Law Center,Dartmouth College Thayer School of Engineering,University of Vermont College of Medicine,Vermont Law School
