According to DES, the drought has eased in NH due to the latest precipitation. Normal conditions have returned to the northern third of the state and along the seacoast. The state’s southern two-thirds is abnormally dry.
Most of the drinking water systems in NH are full, and recreational lake levels are at summer recreational levels.
Ground water levels in the state vary from below normal to above normal. Continued precipitation will prevent a rapid and significant decline in levels over the next couple of months.
